Precision Die-Casting

Die-forging

Die-forging, a method involving metal deformation using heat, makes it possible to shape complex technical parts to obtain a result that is very close to the finished product. Its fiber orientation quality requires higher performance characteristics for safety part applications.

Advantages

Better homogeneity :

  • Excellent wear resistance
  • Excellent corrosion resistance

Smooth surfaces with no porosity :

  • Silver plating, nickel plating, anodising
  • Facilitates polishing

mechanical characteristics (the fibrous structure is preserved):

  • Excellent tensile strength
  • Excellent breaking strength and flexural strength
  • Increase in Brinell hardness from 100 to 115 HB
  • Preservation of the material’s fiber structure

Alloys:

Materials : aluminium alloys series 2000/6000/7000, Titanium, Stainless Steel Quantities: from prototype to large series: from 500 parts
