Precision Die-Casting

DIE-CASTING

Die-casting, a technique involving the shaping of metal with heat, makes it possible to shape complex technical parts to obtain a result that is very close to the finished product. Its fibre drawing quality requires higher-quality characteristics for security part applications.

Advantages

Better homogeneity :

  • Excellent wear resistance
  • Excellent corrosion resistance

Smooth surfaces with no porosity :

  • Facilitates silvering, nickel plating, anodising
  • Facilitates polishing

mechanical characteristics (the fibrous structure is preserved):

  • Excellent tensile strength, breaking strength
  • Excellent torsion strength and flexural strength
  • Increased Brinell hardness 100-115 HB
  • Preservation of material fibres

Alloys:

Aluminium alloys series 2000/6000/7000, Titanium, Stainless Steel Quantities: from prototype to large series: from 500 parts
